1993 Suzuki Cappuccino 93-C-15599 bought for €2900 from Jason O'Brien Car Sales in Cork, Ireland, Fri 2nd April 2010.
The car had been issued an NCT (National Car Test) certificate by Little Island NCT centre that day.
Problem discovered, photos taken and seller notified Fri 21st May 2010 (7 weeks after car was purchased).
Visited seller's premises in person on Sat 12th Jun 2010 (3 weeks after problem discovered), was told "I can't stand over every car I sell".
Letter (PDF) sent to seller by post (recorded delivery) Tue 15th Jun 2010.
Full refund obtained and car returned to seller Wed 28th July 2010 (9 weeks after problem came to light).
